My name is Molly McKinney. I am currently living in Bryan/College Station, Texas, working as an NIH Postbacc Research Fellow at Texas A&M University. I study attentional priority (how our brain decides what to attend to) and how individuals strategically control their attention. I am also interested in the effects of pharmacological substances on the attention system.
Beyond my Cognitive Neuroscience and Psychology pursuits, I have a degree in Interactive Media specializing in Video Production and Direction. I particularly like filming nature, the changing seasons and flowers.
I am also a yoga teacher, musician (singer and a little piano!), and pet parent; I love to swim and climb, I consume a lot of SciFi productions and books, and I value my personal and professional friendships above all else.
